Kalishte

Village of Kalishte is located in South-West Bulgaria. It is part of Kovachevtsi Municipality, Pernik District. Natural sights and monuments of culture.A valuable cultural and historical monument is the stone statue of the Thracian leader from the village of Kalishte, which is kept in the Pernik Historical Museum. Interesting are also the St. Atanas Tomb Church in the village of Kalishte as well as the medieval St. Nikola Letni Church and the late medieval St. Petka Church in the village of Sirishtnik. The Dzhamen Hut is above the village of Sirishtnik. There is a museum of Kukeri masks in the village of Svetlya.
