Rebrovo

Village of Rebrovo is located in South-West Bulgaria. It is part of Svoge Municipality, Sofia District. Svoge municipality covers an area of 866 sq. km in west Bulgaria. It is situated around the defile of Iskar river, about 40 km from the capital of Bulgaria ? Sofia. It has a common border with Sofia municipality and the municipalities of Kostinbrod, Godech, Botevgrad, Varshetz, Vratza and Mezdra.The railroad Sofia-Mezdra as well as some busy automobile thoroughfares, that are a part of the country road network, pass through the territory of the municipality.Natural resourcesThe mountain massive in the region has Karst characteristics. There are two big Karst springs on the territory of the municipality ? over the village of Iskretz and the other one near Lakatnik rocks.The geological structures of the region are rich of rock materials from the Trias, Carbonic, Ordovician and Jurassic period. They are mainly limestone, dolomite, sandstone, quartz and much more. Relief - mountain terrain with 495 970 decares of forests that consist 57.26% of the whole area of the municipality.
The water area consist of 3 630 decares which is 0.42% from the total area of the municipality. The biggest river passing through this terrritory is Iskar. Other rivers which are feeders of Iskar are: Iskretzka, Skaklya, Proboynitza, Leskovska, Gradeshnitza, Batulijska, Garovnitza and others. The rivers are flowing in deep beds full of drifts, which in some palces form low river alluviums.
InfrastructureRoad infrastructure - The teritory of the municipality is crossed by the railroad Sofia - Mezdra as well as some important highways that are aart of the country road network.
Electricity supply - All the village are supplied with electricity except one that has 5 residents.
Water supply and sewerage - There is one main water-conduct with impound capacity of 210 liters per second or 6622000 cubic meters per year, that is used by 12 000 persons and another 140 local water-conducts for the rest of the population and the summer houses.
