Trudovets

The village of Trudovets is sitauted only 3 km from the popular town of Botevgrad and 60 km from the Bulgarian capital city of SOFIA.The hamlet is located in Botevgrad Municipality, in Sofia region.The territory of the municipality covers parts of the Western Balkan Range and the Fore-Balkan. Its geo-strategic significance is defined by the Vitinya Pass connecting North with South Bulgaria, and the proximity of the capital city. It is located 60 km from Sofia. In close proximity is an airport, 50 km away, and a railway station, 30 km away. The Customs Office in the town allows for all types of imports and exports to be processed. A residential gasification network of 13 km has been constructed.
The environmental situation in the municipality is generally highly rated as regards the level of contamination of ambient air, water, soil. The stable environmental situation is a favorable factor in attracting investor interest in high-tech productions. There is good potential in the municipality to develop tourism. The river system is formed by the Bebresh River and its tributaries. On the territory of the municipality, apart from the Bebresh Artificial Lake, there are two more like it: Gurkovo and Mlilag.
